Please read the Career Connections Privacy, Confidentiality, and Terms of Use before entering the site.

Students and Alumni

This website is only for current University of Montevallo undergraduate and graduate students and alumni within 24 months of graduation.  Users are expressly prohibited from sharing their accounts with anyone.  Users are responsible for keeping their profile information accurate and current. Users are also responsible for keeping any commitments to employers. Users who violate terms of service, fail to keep commitments or otherwise jeopardize the University of Montevallo’s relationship with an employer may lose Career Connections privileges.

By using the University of Montevallo Career Connections service, you consent to the storage of your resume and certain profile data on servers provided by the NACElink Network- owned and operated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Certain data you provide as a part of your Career Connections profile may be used in aggregate reports for internal institutional purposes at the University of Montevallo. By uploading your resume to the University of Montevallo Career Connections and granting permission for prospective employers to view it (within your privacy settings), you consent to the release of your resume and certain employment-related information of a personal and professional nature.

As a University of Montevallo Career Connections user, you agree to:

·         Maintain current, accurate, and truthful information with regard to your user profile, professional qualifications, educational background, and job-related documents stored with Career Connections

·         Protect and maintain your username and password

·         Use Career Connections within the standards of the policies regarding computer use at the University  of Montevallo

·         Failure to comply with the terms of use may result in the suspension or termination of your Career Connections account.

University of Montevallo Counseling and Career Center staff will use their best efforts to verify that only bona fide employers, including third-party recruiters who do not charge fees to applicants, are granted access to Career Connections to post job vacancies and search user resumes.

By participating in any of our services or events, you agree that organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer offering employment without regard to gender, age, disability, race, color, religion, marital status, veteran’s status, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation. Failure to comply could lead to removal of services.

Job postings from third-party recruiters charging a fee or restricting complete access to all job information are strictly prohibited.

The University of Montevallo reserves the right to accept or decline any postings submitted through the system.

Confidentiality

Both the University of Montevallo and NACE are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information stored within Career Connections and will not sell, transmit, or disclose in any capacity this information to any other organization.
